The faders, knobs are much stiffer than the looser ddjsx. The build quality on the SRT is noticeably better than the ddjsx. Many people also assume the SRT has the exact same platter as the cdj200nxs2 but it does NOT have the same adjustment knobs for sensitivity. I can also scratch just fine on the ddjsx because i'm already used to its platters. On the SRT the mic volume is a knob, where with the ddjsx you have an upfader. IMO, i prefer the ddjsx because I do alot of weddings and I prefer serato effects and also better control of the mic. Even if you map knobs on the srt to serato effects it does NOT sound anything like how it is on the ddjsx. On the SRT, the effects section is NOT post fader, it IS NOT exactly like the djm900 effects. If you use serato effects, then the ddjsx is for you. If you prefer larger platters for scratching, srt is the right choice. If you don't use serato effects, srt is the right choice.
